How to reach Casa Bédar?

Which airport do you prefer? 

When you come to Casa Bédar you can choose from 3 airports. 

In any case, we recommend that you rent a car. This way you can always move freely in and outside the village. There are variousactivitiesnearby that can only be reached by car from Bédar. 



It is about 50km from Almeria airport to Bédar. You follow the A7 towards Murcia and then you will come across the exit 520 Bédar/Los Gallardos which you should take.

After landing in Corvera you drive 130 km towards Almeria to arrive in Bédar.
If you choose this, you follow the AP7. This is a toll road but also the shortest way.  Here too, take the exit 520 Bédar, Los Gallardos.

Alicante is the furthest airport, but flights are available several days a week.
After 220 km via the A7, first towards Murcia and then towards Almeria. Also now you come to the exit 520  Los Gallardos v Bedar.



How to reach Casa Bédar ?

Casa Bédar is located in the campo, La Carretera a Serena 4 in Bédar . You can also find us on google maps of course.

When you take the exit in Los Gallardos, follow the Bédar arrow always straight ahead on the AL-6109 until you reach a fork. Here you turn left towards Serena. So don't drive through the village.

You just keep following the road for about 2km. You will see a sign on the right with Casa Bédar to drive up our mountain as well as our logo in large on the facade. If you turn in here we are on the top left of the mountain.

  • Can I order a drink, snack or dinner during my stay?"
    Of course you can. We have a cozy bar where you can relax and the prices are also very democratic. For dinner we ask you to book 1 day in advance so that we can always offer fresh and local products. We provide a starter, a main course and a dessert or coffee. Democratic prices will also be charged for drinks. In the afternoon we may also provide a snack if you wish. There is no possibility to make your own food in the rooms. We do not have a kitchen in our rooms. It is forbidden to bring food and drinks from outside. We are not equipped for this. We are not supposed to clean up the waste of another store. Thank you for understanding this. We give the option to eat or have a drink here or in our bars/restaurants in the village.
  • Can I bring my pets?
    We are absolutely animal lovers but have chosen not to allow pets.
  • Where can I smoke?
    Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. This is not a problem outside, but we do ask that you be considerate of other guests and extinguish the butts in the ashtrays provided for this purpose. It is strictly forbidden to throw butts on the ground and certainly not in our campo as this could cause a fire.
  • From when is my reservation valid and how long can I cancel?
    Your reservation is valid once the full amount has been paid. A cancellation fee will be charged. Up to 2 months before arrival, a fee of 30% of the amount paid will be charged. We will refund the amount on the date you would normally arrive. Or we propose you a voucher to rebook within the month. A second cancellation is not possible. The new booking must be made in the same year. If you cancel less than 1 month before arrival, a fee of 50% of the amount paid will be charged. No refund will be made from 14 days before arrival.   • Is there a cot available in the deluxe / family room ?
    A free cot is available in the room. If you let us know that you are bringing children (up to 3 years old), we will make sure that this is ready for you. There is a sofa bed available for the bigger kids.
  • What is included in the price per room?
    We provide a neat room with bathroom that is cleaned daily and will of course change the linen in time. If you want fresh sheets or towels faster, this can be done with an extra supplement. This can be booked in advance or requested on site. We also provide a delicious breakfast on our terrace. Water, coffee and tea will be provided in the room. Our beds are King Size 1m80 by 2m. There is air conditioning, fan, hairdryer, toiletries, wifi and television in every room. In case of extreme water/electricity consumption, a calculation will be charged here. So don't leave the air conditioning on all day or the tap open unnecessarily. Join us in thinking about a better environment. Of course you can use the heated salt water swimming pool (heated from 01/01 to 31/10), petanque court and darts.
  • Can I pay by card on site?
    We do not accept card payments. Your stay has been paid in advance and the consumptions must therefore be paid in cash. We do have an ATM in the village.
  • When can I check in and out?
    You can check in from 2 pm. You can check out until 11 am. If you want to stay longer, this is possible (if the room has not been reserved) and a surcharge of 25 euros per person will be charged for the use of our facilities. Checking out, after a leisurely breakfast, will also take place at the reception. Here we also charge your extra consumption of drinks and meals. We do not have bank contact. But in the village there is an ATM.
  • Can I order a packed lunch if I go walking or cycling all day?
    The day before your trip you can reserve a packed lunch with a drink. This again at a democratic price of 15 euros.
  • Can I rent all the rooms for a party or a group of walkers or cyclists?
    We have a total of 6 rooms and this for a maximum capacity of 16 people. It is best if you wish to contact us by e-mail or telephone to see together what your expectations are and whether there is enough space to guarantee everyone a pleasant stay. We have already had several very nice parties, so do not hesitate to contact us.
  • Am I cheaper if I book directly?
    You can always contact us directly. We can see if we can spoil you with extras that can make your stay even more pleasant. Eg Later check in/out... Booking is best done via this website, then you are sure of the reservation. We do not book ourselves, but if you have any questions, be sure to contact us at 0032/486.74.00.48 Via, You can also stay with compatriots and holiday with Belgians and or Dutch people at our B&B. books.
  • Are there options to eat something nearby?
    We have 4 restaurants in Bédar that serve delicious food. El Cortijo, El Paso, Miramar and Las montanas. If you would like to have lunch or dinner outside, we will be happy to reserve a table. It is provided to bring your own drinks and food from outside. We have a bar with chilled drinks and you can eat something on site and dine in the evening by reservation.
  • Can I hire a bike?
    Casa Bédar provides bicycles for rent. For 7.50 euros per day. This way you can enjoy a nice bike ride during your stay. Of course you can also bring your own bicycle. If something is broken, we also have a workshop where you can carry out repairs. Remember to bring a helmet. This is mandatory from the moment you leave the built-up area. If you come with a group, several bicycles can also be rented in consultation with a bicycle rental company in the area.
  • Can I park in my (rental) car?
    Our car park has enough space where your vehicle can be parked safely. Our car park is completely closed off with camera surveillance, so you don't have to worry. It is also important that there is no minimum height, so you can come to us with a large high car. However, we are not responsible for damage, theft and accidents.
  • Can I arrange something for a birthday or other occasion?
    Of course, be sure to contact us about your expectations and we will try to meet them.
  • From how many nights can I stay at Casa Bédar?
    You can book with us from 1 night. An additional cost of 35 euros per room will be charged for this. You can add this to the extras. If you have not added this, it will be charged at check-out.
  • Does Casa Bédar also have a license to rent out?
    Yes, we are officially registered under number VTAR/AL/00746
  • Is the pool heated?
    Our pool is a heated salt water pool. Not only better for the environment, but also healthier for the skin and you tan faster. Swimming is possible from 1/4 to 31/10.
  • Can I wash my clothes if necessary?
    This is of course possible and at very democratic prices.
  • Is there a possibility to bring chairs or an umbrella to the beach?
    We have beach towels, chairs and umbrellas available if you would like to go to the sea for a day. We do not ask for a guarantee for this, but if something is broken, we do count on it being reimbursed.
  • Until when is the bar open and when are we expected to enter the B&B at the latest?
    Our bar is open daily from 11am to 11pm. We therefore ask that you do not make any noise at the back of the private terrace. If you want to have a party elsewhere, that is of course possible, but our gate is locked at 1 am at the latest. This to respect everyone's night's sleep!
  • When are the rooms cleaned?
    After breakfast the rooms are cleaned. If you wish to stay longer in the room, this is no problem, but after 12 noon there will be no cleaning that day as we are busy preparing our dinner. If you wish to have cleaned the room after 12 noon, this can be done at an additional cost.
  • What about promotions or price changes after my booking?
    Promotions and price changes will not be refunded and if a price increase should take place, they will not be charged.
  • Is er een kluis beschikbaar op de kamer?
    Indien u wenst geven wij u graag de sleutel van de kluis om deze te gebruiken. Dit zit inbegrepen in de prijs. Wij als uitbaters zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor eventuele diefstallen. Bij het uitchecken zal de sleutel samen met de kamersleutel terug overhandigd worden.
